Joe Gambino is an award winning journalist who arrived at CBS 6 in 2002 with over a decade of experience as a reporter and anchor.


Born and raised in Ulster County, Joe attended the College of Saint Rose in Albany, where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Public Communications.


Joe's career includes stops at WNYT & WTEN in Albany, and WRNN in Kingston, where he received a New York State Broadcast Award for best continuing coverage for his reporting on a serial killer.  Joe's reporting has also been seen nation wide on World Business Review on CNBC.  Along the way, he's worked at a cable television station in Pennsylvania, served as News Director of a local radio station and has even been with the TV show "The People's Court" - where he gathered cases that were seen from coast to coast.


In his spare time, Joe enjoys golf and rooting for the Yankees. He lives in Rensselaer County with his wife, Sue and their daughter, Elizabeth.
